It's the earlier comedy manga from Kiyohiko Azuma but not as funny or clever as Yotsuba.

it is just wonderful entertainment. What I particularly like is that unlike so much of the super-fanciful anime, this is about a bunch of high school girls--and most of their adventures are very mundane--no explosions, no Pokemon battles and no life or death struggles.

After watching every episode of the series it has became one of my favorite animes, and I love all the characters with Chiyo probably being my favorite, while Osaka comes in at a close second.

It's a great summer anime to chill on, I enjoyed it greatly back in the day.
